The Wildfrost tests those who it possesses. The sinister magic it imbues sometimes unlocks a new potential in its servants. These servants excel from their weaker counterparts in numerous ways, either in speed, strength, or effect. Snowdwellers have dubbed this simply as "Upgrading," but for the Wildfrost, it is the process of a forbidden name long buried in the snow. The process is so harsh that no other blessing can affect these creatures once they've accepted this "upgrade." Just as upgrades are incredibly powerful, they are incredibly rare. Few creatures ever come across this forbidden process, but when they do, the ecosystem shakes in fear...and the Wildfrost delights in its new tool.
